This cabin will have super-insulated straw bale walls, with beautiful views of Georgetown Lake, near Anaconda, Montana. The cabin will feature lime plaster finished straw bale walls on the inside and outside of the cabin, with metal wainscot at selected areas of the exterior walls. The roof structure is of stained timber trusses, with a stained t&g wood ceiling, and a standing seam metal roof. The Cabin will harvest its own water supply from the roof, and store the rainwater in cisterns in the basement, and will be filtered by reverse osmosis and treated with UV light for a fully potable water system. The cabin will use hydronic radiant floor heating, as well as a traditional wood stove, for relaxing in front of after a long day of skiing. The decks will feature stainless steel cable railings for unobstructed views of the lake below, as well as being covered for year round use.
